RETAIL & SHOWROOM LIGHTING
Architectural Lighting for Retail & Showroom Environments
Flexible 48V magnetic track lighting and precision luminaires for product displays, changing layouts and clean architectural integration.
RETAIL LIGHTING APPROACH
Light the Product, Not Just the Space
Retail and showroom lighting should create visual hierarchy, guide attention and support the way products are presented within the architecture.
A coordinated lighting system combines ambient illumination, focused accents and vertical lighting so that displays remain clear, balanced and adaptable.
Visual Hierarchy
Use contrast and directional light to establish focal points and guide attention through the space.
Product Accent Lighting
Direct light precisely onto merchandise, display tables, shelving and featured collections.
Vertical Illumination
Illuminate walls, shelving and display surfaces to improve spatial brightness and product visibility.
Ambient & Circulation Lighting
Provide comfortable background illumination for circulation and general orientation without competing with featured displays.
48V MAGNETIC TRACK SYSTEM
A Flexible Lighting Platform for Changing Displays
Retail layouts, product collections and display priorities can change over time. A 48V magnetic track system provides a clean architectural infrastructure while allowing luminaires to be repositioned or reconfigured when the space evolves. Different lighting modules can share the same track platform, allowing accent, linear and wall-washing functions to be coordinated within one system.

48V MAGNETIC TRACK SYSTEM
Clean Architectural Integration
Surface, recessed and trimless track options can be selected according to the ceiling structure and interior design.
Flexible Fixture Positioning
Spotlights and other lighting modules can be repositioned as displays, furniture and product zones change.
Multiple Lighting Functions
Accent lighting, linear illumination and wall washing can be combined within one coordinated track system.
SYSTEM PLANNING
Plan the Lighting Around the Display Strategy
Retail lighting should be planned around display locations, product scale, ceiling conditions, viewing direction and the expected flexibility of the space. The lighting layout should support both the current merchandising concept and reasonable future changes without making the ceiling visually complex.
01
Track Layout
Position tracks according to display zones, circulation routes, shelving and architectural features.
02
Accent Strategy
Identify featured products and priority display areas before selecting fixture positions and beam characteristics.
03
Vertical Illumination
Consider shelving, walls and vertical display surfaces as part of the lighting plan rather than focusing only on horizontal illumination.
04
Future Flexibility
Allow sufficient flexibility for fixture repositioning when merchandise, display furniture or seasonal layouts change.
LIGHT QUALITY
Control the Light Where It Matters
Good retail lighting depends not only on fixture output, but also on how accurately the light is distributed and how products appear under the selected source. Optical performance should therefore be matched to the display distance, target size, surface characteristics and visual priorities of the project.
LIGHT QUALITY & BEAM CONTROL
Colour Appearance
Select suitable colour temperature, colour rendering and colour consistency according to the merchandise and desired visual atmosphere.
Beam Selection
Choose beam distributions according to mounting height, display distance and the size of the illuminated target.
Aiming & Visual Comfort
Position directional luminaires so that products are clearly illuminated while unnecessary glare and distracting hot spots are controlled.
Dimming & Scene Control
Where required, dimming or scene control can support different display conditions, operating periods or presentation requirements.
